We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager, Process Improvement for a full-time permanent position. This client offers excellent benefits and lots of growth potential. They are in need of someone with great verbal, written and presentation skills who is self – directed and able to manage and prioritize multiple challenges.  This opportunity will allow you to:

 Act as a change agent for the company and ensure that process improvement activity is being communicated, understood, and supported within the organization. Provide the appropriate level of leadership and coaching to ensure participation and buy in from employees in order to successfully implement improved process.Facilitate cross-functional process improvement DMAIC projects and rapid improvement events, including identifying and managing all resources for plan development, metric specification, tool development, documentation creation and rollout. Investigate and identify root causes of process performance drivers; correct or develop new processes, as appropriate in order to achieve improved performance.Align with key functional leaders to refine improvement roadmap for functional area.Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports; apply control procedures resulting in permanent corrective action, yield, and productivity improvement.Provide coaching and Just-In-Time training on Lean Six Sigma tools to various project teams and departments as needed within IT.Implement key metrics to measure the business and improve operating processes.

Requirements

All qualified applicants will possess these minimum requirements:Bachelors degree, and/or 5 years progressive experience in developing process improvement initiatives, preferably within the IT functionStrong project management and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to meet timelines and balance multiple deadlines Blackbelt (or Master Blackbelt) certification Demonstrated analytical ability with understanding of basic statistics Strong focus on customer serviceExcellent verbal and written communicationPC skills including proficiency in Microsoft officeRequires 50-75% travel for first 12-18 months.  Subsequent travel will be 25-50%.
