Job Description:

 

Gibson Guitar, the world's premiere musical instrument manufacturer is seeking an energetic software developer to develop and maintain intranet and extranet, web-based business applications.

 

Key responsibilities include:

· Work with business process owners, IT project managers, and company executives to design ways to best leverage web-based technologies to accomplish business objectives.

· Design, development, deployment, and support of web based/.Net (ASP, VB, ADO) intranet and extranet applications.

 

Only those with an entrepreneurial spirit need apply.  The position is based at Gibson Corporate headquarters in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred5+ Years of experience developing web-based business applications.Expert level skills developing software using Microsoft Development Tools and Languages including; VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, SQL 2000, and Visual Studio .Net, required.  Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Services a plus.High level skills in the following areas: process analysis, organization and reporting (i.e., planning & status), presentation, written and verbal communication.Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills required
