The Opportunity

 

The Senior Manager, Marketing Communications position with NetMotion Wireless is a critical role for all marketing and communications activities.  The individual needs to drive lead generation, own the Web including SEO and advance the messaging of the company in order to generate interest in NetMotion Wireless. You will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing.  This position is based in Seattle, WA and includes a base salary, full benefits, stock options, and a bonus plan.

Responsibilities

· Develop and drive Web vision, ongoing improvements and SEO program

· Manage communications programs including advertising, direct mail, and sales promotions;

· Drive lead programs including email blasts, telemarketing, lead fulfillment and lead tracking.

· Manage the development and distribution of collateral and other sales tools.

· Manage outside vendors and agencies as needed

· Oversee appropriate marketing communications budgets

· Support product launches with appropriate marketing tools

· Support vertical marketing programs

· Support channel marketing programs

 Qualifications

 

In this position, you must be able to hit the ground running in order to have an immediate and needed impact.  To do this you must have a solid understanding of marketing communications based upon experience.

In addition to this you will have: 

 

· Minimum of seven to ten (7-10) years of business experience with at least five years of experience in marketing communications with a technology company.

· Minimum of three to five (3 – 5) years of Web marketing experience.

· Proven communication, interpersonal and leadership skills in a diverse work environment

· Strong written and speaking skills

· An undergraduate degree

· MBA or advanced degree (preferred)

· Knowledge of the wireless computing industry (preferred)

Physical Requirements

 

This position requires the manual dexterity sufficient to operate phones, computers, and other office equipment.  The person in the role must communicate clearly using the English language to accurately convey information and be able to hear at normal speaking levels both in person and over the telephone.  Vision correctable to 20/40 is required to review written materials.
