Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Bedrock

SOUTHBOROUGH, MA 01772Summary: We're looking for an experienced Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, Software Developer, or Lab Manager or any combination of these to join a small, high-powered team tasked with building a ground-breaking foundation for multiple critical products here at Iron Mountain.  This position will require expertise working with large numbers of Linux and Microsoft systems, and supporting Development and QA teams. Qualifications/Requirements: 5 or more years of industry experience maintaining complex development and test labs using Linux and Microsoft Operating Systems. Hands-on experience with Linux, preferably at the kernel level Hands-on experience with Microsoft OS administration Knowledge of and experience with Linux file systems Knowledge of CIFS and NFS (SMB) Strong knowledge of shells, scripting, and Perl Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent inter-personal skills At least 1 year experience in Java and JUnit, with the ability to understand and write quality java (J2SE) code A strong sense of self-motivation VMWare experience. Job Requirements: Knowledge of, or experience with at least a few of the following is needed, the more the better: High-performance server applications Familiarity with agile development within a waterfall project management infrastructure SSIS experience is desirable Services oriented architecture, REST, SOAP, and other HTTP protocols Distributed systems and grid computing.
