As a part of the CDW Berbee Microsoft team, you are in the middle of the action creating technical solutions, impacting CDW Berbee's business growth and supporting our sales team. The incumbent of this position will: Actively participate in the planning, design, and implementation of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange systems, infrastructure and related hardware for customers. This includes: Following life-cycle oriented processes and procedures. Implementing test plans, migration plans, and delivery plans Network and application troubleshooting. Prepare design documents and presentations. Clearly describes the design, including rationale for decisions and implications of decisions Deliver high-quality solutions to our customers to ensure their investment in technology is consistent with their business objectives. Deliver project responsibilities in line with project plan Contribute to product development and written proposals Working in a team environment. Conduct workshops, seminars and public presentations on area of expertise Five to seven years of experience in delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, rollout and support experience MCSE 2003 certification — +M, +S or MCSE 2000 certification a plusAn emphasis on Active Directory, Exchange and Microsoft core infrastructure technologies In-depth knowledge of the following Microsoft technologies: Windows Server NT 4.0, 2000, 2003 and R2 and Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003 and 2007 with Unified Messaging, Windows (workstations) NT 4.0, 2000, XP and VistaFunctional knowledge of the following Microsoft technologies: ISA 2004 and 2006, SMS 2003 and SUS, SCCM, SQL Server 2000 and 2005, SharePoint 2003 and MOSS 2007, Exchange Hosted Services, MOM and SCOM.Experience and use of Microsoft Operations Framework and ITIL processesExperience with competitive platform upgrades and migrations to a Microsoft platformDevelopment Experience or background is a plus Understanding of the industry, market, customers, competitors, suppliers, partners and capabilities of the business.
