Job Description:

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Participate in the architecture and hands-on development of software, firmware, and applications to support the development of storage technology products in a fast paced and leading edge environment.

· Participate as a key contributor in development of new product plans

· Implement and manage Software development environment, including source code configuration management and bug tracking systems.

· Insure development of thorough and complete documentation throughout the product development and support lifecycle.

 

Job Requirements:

 

· BSEE/CS directed at software development (MS preferred)

· 6-8 years experience with superior demonstrated programming/design skills with c/c++ programming languages.

· Project experience with proven ability to deliver successful software within embedded systems while meeting schedule and technical goals.

· Experience developing real-time and embedded Linux software including development of board support packages, Linux kernel, and Linux device drivers.

· Understanding of version control systems, branching and release management with experience establishing source code configuration management tools

· Great communication skills, both oral and written are essential
