Senior Business Systems Analyst - NetApp U

Description:Job Summary:Be the primary IT owner for applications delivery for NetApps Learning Systems portfolio, and be the focal point of contact between the NetApp University (NetAppU) business function and the IT function (delivery, support and infrastructure). Essential Functions: Primary IT owner/contact for NetApps internal and external training systems and programs. Will lead programs and projects, manage vendors, and participate in definition of new functionality, validation of business requirements, design of the systems and support during the quality assurance, and release management process.Responsibilities:- Partner with NetApp U Management and Super Users, providing leadership and functional collaboration for delivering application solutions addressing NetApp U business priorities. Provide assistance with development questions and collaborate on any needed solutions.- Drive resolution of issues pertaining to the Learning Systems, data interfaces to and from other systems, and other related functions. - Interact with the business teams to gather requirements and develop solutions. Operate as an expert to review business requirements, process designs, solution designs and implementation.- Participate in testing and release activities. Serve as a liaison between the superuser and the QA function for testing against defined requirements.- Insure that SDLC processes are implemented and adhered to, yielding detailed functional and technical design documents for in the functional areas supported.- Coordinate with other Business Systems Analysts in other functional areas as necessary.- Lead 3rd Party vendors for the development scalable and sustainable solutions.Education and Experience:- A minimum of 12 years of experience is required. - A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required; Information Technology, or related technical field is preferred. - Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.Qualifications:Job Requirements: - 3+ years of experience with implementing, enhancing and supporting Saba Learning Management Applications.
