Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantDescription: Volt Accounting and Finance has immediate openings for talented individuals with accounting experience. Placement opportunities that include, contingent, contingent to hire and direct placement are available. Candidates should possess a BA/BS in an Accounting, Finance, or Business related field and 4 years recent work experience. Individuals should have thorough understanding of general accounting functions and be extremely familiar with GAAP. Related software skills and experience with Microsoft Excel are a definite plus. Requirements: Responsible for Accounting Functions in one or more of the following departments: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost, Finance, or Tax. Coordination of special projects. May supervise or provide ad hoc assistance to subordinates. Ideal Candidate Attributes Include Experience In: Account Reconciliation, Accruals, Capitalization, Depreciation, Due Diligence, GAAP, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month-end/Year-end Close, and Revenue Accounting.
