Sales Operations Planning Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:



 

Manage the Purchasing-Sales-Inventory (PSI) function for Toshiba HDD, Projector, Laptop Accessories, and Gigastyle product lines in the retail, business to business (B2B) and Toshiba Direct channels for the Digital Products Division. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage PSI Team resources for development of the monthly and Budget PSI’s for the HDD, Projector, NB Accessories, and gigastyle (DM Company) product lines.  Manage schedule to support all due dates (financial, SCM, and management). Prepare output to support management, marketing, and sales.  This includes PSI meeting material, issues and assumptions, e.PSI reports, other charts/analysis, etc.  Ensure key topics and business issues are analyzed and communicated to Management.  Facilitate PSI meetings and key Management Review meetings.Manage the weekly PSI process for the HDD, Projector, NB Accessories, and gigastyle product line.  Ensure output is prepared to support management, marketing, supply planning, and sales.  Facilitate Sales Forecasting function, weekly PLM processing, and weekly demand/supply balancing.  Ensure key topics and business issues are analyzed and communicated to Management. Facilitate weekly PSI meetings and ad-hoc meetings, as necessary.Provide Business Planning Analysis and Support for HDD, Projector, NB Accessories, and gigastyle (DM Company) product lines.  This includes pricing management, T’s & C’s management, target setting and market research analysis.Manage the i2 Demand Manager database with respect to PSI and Sales Forecasting.  Ensure hierarchies are maintained to support PSI and Sales Forecasting process.  Identify execute system enhancements to support evolving processes like new product lines or customer based PSI.Perform other duties as may be assigned, including support of notebook PSI team during peak work periods.







REQUIREMENTS:

 

BS/BA in Business Administration or Management, or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience.Plus a minimum of eight (8) years of directly applicable experience with PSI or sales operations planning processes, preferably in the high-tech/computer industry.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to proactively recognize issues and to develop solutions and processes/programs to exceed expectations.Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to present to senior management and influence and gain the confidence of both internal and external customers.Proven track record of building team consensus and collaborating across functional lines.Occasional national/international travel may be required.
