Sales Engineer

Primary duties include:

  Follow up qualified leads to identify customers with requirements for UEI products.  Help these prospects (and/or our representatives) configure the best solution possible utilizing our products and provide appropriate quotes.  Follow up quotes, address questions as they arise and move the sale along to closing.

 

In addition to the above, you will also provide limited technical support to existing customers. Almost all interaction will be via telephone and/or email though there may be occasional travel required for customer visits and/or trade show booth support.

  

Job Requirements: Desirable:

      •     2+ years experience in an engineering or technical position

      •     Excellent written and verbal communications skills

      •     Programming experience in a PC environment

      •     Ability to multi-task

      •     Ability to travel up to 10% - 15%

      •     Associates in EE, Physics, Computer Science or a related field

 

Desirable:               

      •     BS in EE, Physics, Computer Science or a related field

      •     Instrumentation, DAQ or Control system experience

      •     Experience interfacing hardware to various sensors

      •     LabVIEW and/or MATLAB programming experience
