SW Test Engineer SJ756385 Description: Test Engineer: This position is the role of a test engineer on program team developing machine and fleet control systems to optimize mine site operation. This test engineer will write and oversee execution of test plans that insure the system designs perform as required. The test plans will be complex as use cases will be based on multiple machine interactions between mining vehicles. Also, this position will a.) document events where the system under test fails to perform as specified, b.) communicate these issues to development teams c.) during execution of test work, operate one of the small machines at the Moss AC mining system development site, and d.) as needed maintain the more complex pieces of equipment such as GPS receivers, networks, etc. Travel to CLIENT'S Tucson Proving Ground may be frequent. Requirements: Requirements: 4 year engineering or computer science degree, or equivalent, with experience in software testing. Must be able to take a flow chart and analyze the actual data captured to determine if the test was successful or failed. Willing to travel.Desired: Experience with mining. Comfortable operating heavy machines or willing to learn.
