DATA NETWORK ENGINEER Our high profile, fortune 500 client is looking for there right PERSON to add to the team. 9 years experience Cisco network or 6 years with certifications (CCNP or CCIE), 2) 3 years Cisco ACE module configuration experience, 3).Network security experience would be a plus, 4) 4 years Design and Arch of CISCO networks. 5) 5 years experience dealing with the client and SAIC to get the right set up. Responsible for performing technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for data network systems. Total network design may include concept design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Plans and executes highly complex engineering activities. This position functions as the technical lead for all design-to-cost and life cycle activities for small to large-scale data network projects, works on complex problems, and establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s). May supervise a team of multi-disciplinary personnel as a technical lead to ensure congruence of the various hardware, software, communications and interface approaches. Responsible for the technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures to be used on new assignments. Interacts with management on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline. Bachelor's requirement can be substituted with CCNP or CCIE. and 9+years experience. DESIRE SKILLS: Strong understanding of complex designs and architectures of Network Infrastructure equipment. - Familiarization with network management and troubleshooting tools. - Understanding of packet level networking.
