Revenue Manager: 115K to 125K + bonus + options

The Revenue group is seeking an experienced team member to support finance on revenue recognition related matters and act as the primary contact in providing guidance and input into business/revenue model, deal structure, determining revenue recognition treatment on current deals/channel programs as well as providing on-going training in these areas.

In addition, this position will provide consultation and direction to the Mergers and Acquisition team members on revenue related issues and make integration decisions. This person will also work closely with the integration teams from different business functions to make decisions that may impact the company significantly.

This is a dynamic and high profile position requiring the successful candidate to have a good understanding of US GAAP and utilize a broad range of financial, process, operational and strong communication skills; combined with strong business acumen. This person will play a key role on the leadership team of the Corporate Revenue organization. This position will interface with Sales, CA and BU Finance controllers to insure consistent application and adherence to revenue recognition policy. Responsible for driving revenue recognition compliance with GAAP and ensuring that revenue recognition policy is kept current with latest GAAP pronouncements.

Required Qualifications:
• BS degree with 7 years of related experience with an MBA/CPA preferred.
• High degree of partnering skills: personal integrity; drive for results; forward thinker; performance-oriented manager, proactive and cross functional thinker.
• Strong and effective communications across multiple levels of the company and across multiple functional organizations
• Prior big 4 experience preferred
• Experienced in application of US GAAP, specifically in the area of revenue recognition.
• Skill in the interpretation of SOP 97-2 and other revenue recognition accounting pronouncements as well as applicability to specific transactions in the context of a large US high-tech public company.
• Strong and effective communications across multiple levels of the company and across multiple functional organizations
• Ability to participate / leverage cross-functional and global teams.
