DescriptionThe Regional Business Manager (RBM) will have the necessary skills, contacts, and experience to independently find, target, qualify, sell and support the entire range of ViewSonic products as the desktop standard at enterprise and SPG accounts. The RBM will manage the sales process from the enterprise through the reseller to ensure seamless delivery to the end user. The RBM will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing plans which will drive incremental sales through the reseller to the end user. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Make sales calls, to resellers, end users and prospective customers within assigned territory to drive increased revenue and build relationships. • During sales calls, conduct training events with resellers to assure knowledge and mind share of ViewSonic products, programs and services.• Develop 6 month marketing plans for all appropriate resellers, and/or enterprise accounts, to Channel Marketing Manager as instructed for approval.• Provide monthly rolling forecast for all assigned accounts.• Maintain and submit a monthly pipeline report of all large opportunities identified above and beyond normal run rate business.• Consistently provides competitive updates on products, promotions, pricing and services to market research and sales management.• Assist in local, regional and national trade show and other marketing activities as requested.• Remain focused to costs minimizing travel and other expenses where possible yet provide excellent support and visibility to the customer base within the territory.• Identify top end user accounts in a set geographical territory (target accounts). • Begin qualifying those accounts and initiating the sales cycle (qualification, evaluation, bid, departmental standard, and enterprise standards).• Determine needs within said accounts and provide a solution to decision makers.• Utilize all internal resources necessary to close the account.• Provide current data on the accounts with regard to main contacts, major projects, current standards, overall opportunity in units and dollars, potential marketing needs and associated costs.• Maintain all aspects of the sales cycle with ViewSonic Harvest accounts (key accounts in each territory that have already purchased and installed 5000 units).• Complete other projects and duties as assigned.Required ExperienceRequires a BS/BA degree in a related field. Minimum 3 to 5 years in sales to the Fortune 1000 community or equivalent experience. Must have a working knowledge of how to service, sell and support products within target accounts. Individual must possess a mature demeanor, be an ambitious, self-starter, with the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision. Must possess a high level of energy with a demonstrated ability to make a substantial number of calls, handle a high volume of accounts and maintain a continuing rigorous pace. Excellent time management and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate, detailed records is required. Manufacturing experience is helpful but not necessary.
