Quality Manager

Major Responsibilities:

q Responsible for setting up and implementing quality infrastructure in NSD US: procedures, measurement & tools, according to ECI’s procedures and quality policy

q Conduct internal quality audits, in order to identify areas of improvement, initiate implementation of corrective actions and verify the effectiveness of the quality system and quality artifacts.

q Prepare CESR US projects for external audits

q Responsible for establishing detailed quality programs and setting up quality goals for SW & HW R&D groups.

q Assist the Project Manager in escorting projects and verifying they are managed according to the defined development process & goals.

q Define various process-oriented and product-oriented measurements to support analysis of the development process and the readiness of the products for release.

q Collect quality data, analyze and report status in order to support continuous quality improvement

q Escalate deviations in Quality, Quality targets or quality work plan

q Provide mentoring and guidance for promoting quality-oriented thinking and implementation of various quality-oriented activities/techniques.

q Support Reliability Engineering activities in the projects in the Design Phase (interface with TND IL QM)

q Supervising quality issues regarding critical or strategic component approval

q Engineering support:

q Responsible for managing MRB (Material Board Review) and approve or reject any deviation in product or process found in equipment while ensuring quality level and compliance are maintained.

q Communicate findings from field reliability analysis; recommend improvement processes following findings and Root Cause Analysis investigations and follow up on corrective actions.

q Responsible for addressing customer complaints regarding quality & reliability of CESR US products, from the investigation phase and recommended corrective actions to the official response to customer.

q Support tender response activities concerning quality, reliability & compliance requirements in the RFP. Notify of any deviations from compliance or unique requirements, including resources needed to support requirements in addition to the regular support terms.

Qualifications:

q BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

q 5 years experience in R&D

q Experience in quality management

q Familiar with Quality systems such as ISO 9001:2000, ISO 9003, TL9000, CMMI

q Familiar with bug tracking tools, SW testing methodologies

q Familiar with telecomm market – advantage

q Formal training in quality – CSQE / CQRE – advantage
