On-Site Verification Quality Engineer

This position is located in our manufacturing facility in Juarez, Mexico.

Applicants must be willing to work in Juarez.

 

 

Job Summary:

Manage the Foxconn On-Site Verification (OSV) Team.  Provide Feedback to both the internal and external Quality Teams on issues found in OSV.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Manage the OSV Inventory Levels.  Provide Training and support to the Failure Analysis Technicians (FAT-L1).  Alert Foxconn SQE to potential Foxconn Factory Quality Problems and provide suggestions for improvement.  Alert internal Quality Team to any and all potential Foxconn Quality issues in the Foxconn Factory.  Provide Daily report status of OSV Findings.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 Years Experience in Manufacturing Quality

Minimum of 2 Years Experience in Failure Analysis Engineering

Responsible for performing in depth 1st and 2nd Level Failure Analysis as required,

Excellent in problem solving, Leadership and Teamwork ability

Excellent knowledge of Electronic Theory

Excellent knowledge of PC system architecture

Excellent skills at analyzing failure trends to determine process, component, or design flaws

Excellent knowledge of electronic component functions within digital and analog circuits

Ability to use software diagnostics, simulators, multi-meters and oscilloscopes to find the root cause of any PCBA failure

 

Desired Skills:

Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Very good understanding of PCBA and System Level Hardware and Software

Very good understanding of SMT/PIH manufacturing and Test Process's

Very good understanding of RMA Repair Process

Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all Business levels (Mfg Operator through Senior Management)

Skilled with MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

 

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or Equivalent experience)
