Job Duties:
Candidate will work with Senior Performance Test Engineers to manage projects, develop automation scripts, communicate status to customers, and to review reports from offshore testing team. Candidate will also work with our Offshore testing team as directed to provide guidance to the team and assist them in developing automation scripts, writing test plans and developing final reports. Must be willing to work some nights and some weekends as required to execute tests with Senior team members and to communicate daily activities with Offshore team members. Daily reporting to Senior US staff on activities performed and current status of projects is required.
Skills Required:
Should have basic knowledge of multiple operating systems (Windows, Unix etc.) Expertise in one or more automated scripts using tools such as Radview’s Webload, Rational’s Visual Test, Mercury’s LoadRunner etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to evaluate, integrate and implement new technologies. Strong trouble shooting ability and the ability to be innovative and approach problems and tasks from a variety of perspectives. Knowledge and experience with all Internet communication protocols including IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS and SSL.
Minimum Education: Associates Degree, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Preferred
Minimum Experience: 4-5 years of full time, relevant work experience
