Location: Dallas, TX 75202 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project, Employee Responsibilities: DWDM is a new technology of in the global network thus the project includes the prerequisite management of lab testing, IT systems delivery and operational readiness testing. Provide end-to-end project management for the successful introduction of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology into the most of world/global network. Work with partners to develop and integrate introduction timelines. Coordinate with interdepartmental teams, including IT, Operations, Engineering and Planning, to ensure all components of technology needs are clearly identified and tested in order to deliver an integrated solution. Monitor status of individual subcomponents to develop and communicate single view of project. Establish sub-committee hierarchy as required to coordinate and close issues. Coordinate critical path dependencies. Use disciplined project management methods and tools to ensure that project is delivered as planned. Track and drive issues to resolution.
