We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager (Scheduler) in the Cincinnati area; covering the Midwest Region.

OVERVIEW:
Serves as liaison between the company and the client during project planning, installation and closure. Ensure customer satisfaction of Infrastructure solutions by managing the details of overall project schedules and deliverables. Involves interaction with sales and engineering. Monitors the project from initiation through delivery. Ensures completion of project on schedule and within budget constraints.


REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years experience coordinating the delivery of engineering services within the IT industry.
Excellent organizational, customer service, verbal and written communication skills (including the ability to collaborate with technical engineers and others).
Ability to assemble and edit written documents for a technical audience, and to team with others to create and document processes and procedures.
Familiarity with the technical concepts, terms and practices used in the assessment and implementation of IT Infrastructure and services.
Familiarity with Microsoft Project and other Project Management tools and methodologies.
A technical background and PMP Certification is preferred but not required.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the Director of Technical Support and Services and other Practice Managers to develop proposals and coordinate engineering projects.
Manage customer relationship during engagements in order to assess and assure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
Communicate in a timely and accurate manner with all parties as to the progress and completion of each engagement.
Work closely with the Director of Technical Support and Services and Project Management team to develop and implement new processes and continually improve customers communications and quality of service.
Schedule, track and coordinate all the activities (meetings, con-calls and tasks) involved in the delivery of engineering engagements, such as Customers; Network, Engineers from other FusionStorm. Business Units. Account Mangers and Inside Sales Reps; Service Managers; Vendors or their agents; Third-party contractors; and Distributors (for delivery of equipment, as needed).
Assist, review and edit Statements of Work (SOWs) for engagements: Track SOWs by number and store in the companys SharePoint database; With assistance from the engineer assigned to the engagement, generate a completed SOW including technical details, milestones and fixed or T&M pricing; Get final approval for completed SOWs from the Director or engineer assigned to the engagement; Deliver an approved SOW to the Account Managers to send to the Customer; Revise SOWs as appropriate with assistance from the engineering team; Maintain and revise a database of SOW templates.
Produce an accurate billing summary for all Networking engagements and deliver to the Finance department on a weekly basis.
Cross-train for other Project Management roles as a back up for vacations, sick leave, etc.
Conduct kick-off meetings, weekly meetings and project closure meetings.
Resolve project conflict, and create and manage project plans.
