Your Ingenuity is welcome!Ideal candidate will have several years of project management experience in electronic product development environment.  It is highly desirable that this project management experience spans both hardware and software development.      BACKGROUND INFORMATION:   The Building Efficiencies Group develops installs, and services HVAC and Building Controls systems.  This position is responsible for management of various projects aimed at delivering new features and functions for our rapidly growing product offerings.  These projects include both hardware and software development activities.  These activities are focused on the company's embedded controls and PC-based workstation solutions (similar to a PLC).   JOB DESCRIPTION:   In support of the Metasys Building Automation products you will work as a Project Manager in a team environment to plan and direct project activities as well as manage project schedule, scope, risk and cost. You will work on a verity of projects which may include in their scope hardware, software, and support related activities.  The majority of these projects will contain hardware development in thier scope.  Your team will utilize state-of-the-art development tools and technologies to facilitate world class project execution.  You will be required to plan, manage, and report on your projects as well as providing direction and guidance to the project team.  A strong product development background is desired; however the position is focused management of the project.     We require a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science along with 7+ years of engineering experience, 3+ of which should be in a project leadership role. Ideal candidate will have strong background in electronic product development and software engineering.  We will consider candidates with expectional capibilties in one of these areas.  We also require leadership experience in entire product development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, test and deployment). You should also have experience managing projects with teams of 5 or more engineers.  Experience with modern project management processes and tools (Microsoft Project) are required.Results oriented can do attitude is required with proven ability to interact with other disciplines outside of engineering are required.   DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   We prefer a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field, MBA and Project Management Certification (PMP).
