Project Manager/Business System Analyst

Essential Functions: · Actively seek ways to apply technology to business projects and processes in the business functions and ensure technologies are aligned with business strategies. · Formulate approaches that achieve desired business objectives, including defining system scope and objectives, as well as assisting with the business case justification. · Responsible for managing the design, development, release, and maintenance of business application systems that improve processes and support critical business strategies. · Manage implementation requirements to solve business problems and/or improve processes. · Analyze business function needs; ensure requests are compatible with IT’s technical direction; help to prioritize needs enterprise- wide and participate with the customers and other IT towers in the development and implementation of the solution. Major Responsibilities: · Participate in the formulation of the enterprise business system architecture plans; assess cost and feasibility of system requests; ensure the plan supports strategic and near-term needs. · Implement business system plans, direct development, release, and maintenance of enterprise application systems. · Work with the various business functions and technical teams to ensure project costs and schedules are properly estimated and controlled. · Collaborate with customers, vendors, industry consultants, and senior company management to define service levels; integrate activities with business units and other IT towers to ensure the successful implementation and support of project efforts. · Ensure corporate data is managed and provide products and analytical help to secure access and reporting. · Responsible for planning and managing day-to-day activities associated with design, development, deployment, and recoverability of enterprise applications, corporate data warehouse, and corporate database management systems. · Develop and maintains project plans and budgets. Qualifications:· Business Process Analysis · Experience working with Human Resource Data · Experience with Oracle 11i environment · Experience with Hyperion (Business Intelligence) · Proven experience in the high tech industry · Data Analysis experience · Should be able to translate business needs into technical solutions · 7+ years experience · BS/MS in Computer Sciences or MIS · Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills · Strong human relations and negotiation skills · Good organization and problem solving skills · Customer focus and positive, self-confident attitude This is a full-time employment opportunity.
