For more information, visit www.infosys.com About the Unit:The Product Lifecycle and Engineering Solutions (PLES) group at Infosys is a technology and domain intensive group that is continuously orchestrating an engineering backbone to help realize Infosys' vision. Our initiatives range from designing and developing aircraft modules, to automotive interiors including seating systems, instrument panel, cockpit and door systems, from injection molding machinery to equipment for the oil and gas industry. We also engineer the implementation of product lifecycle management solutions and embedded software systems while straddling a range of new generation technologies. PLES is certified with EN9100. Our Aerospace group is actively involved in supporting the product development lifecycle of our aerospace clients starting with concept design to release of the design for manufacturing. We have successfully executed several projects covering design of aircraft structural components like wings, fuselage, empennage etc. Job Responsibilities: Perform Stress analysis to support the conceptual / preliminary / detailed design of aircraft structures. Ability to independently execute stress analysis projects and mentor team technically. Participate and present in technical reviews to substantiate analysis results. Manage expectations of customers, projects schedules & technical reviews. Interface with client  and coordinate with offshore team. Effort estimation, scheduling and project planning using Project Management tools Define project team organization, allocate, execute project assignments and monitor tasks assigned to team members. Review of the deliverables with the client. Ability to lead and motivate high potential project teams to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables is a must.Technical Skills Required: Experience in Static analysis, Finite Element Analysis, Damage Tolerance, Structural Repair Methods etc. of aircraft structures. Experience in CAE tools such as Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys, etc . Experience in product development lifecycle starting from concept to release for manufacturing, with focus on analysis. Knowledge of Aerospace standards and processes. Experience of leading analysis teams with excellent communication skills. Exposure to pre-sales and proposal making activities in a similar role preferred. Strong written & verbal communication skills, analytical skills are required in order to effectively work with the clients. 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience required Behavioral Skills Required: Should have high standard of verbal and written communications skills Strong analytical skills, incident and problem solving skills. Customer service focused, e.g. attentive to end-user needs, work with due urgency, attention to detail.
