Position Description:This position reports into the Storage Components Group (SCG) Program Management organization. As a program manager, you will be involved in delivering leading edge storage product solutions to market, utilizing your knowledge of new product development and program management skills, tools and techniques. Work in an environment that allows you to have a high level of visibility and be involved in key areas of developing and delivering leading edge storage solutions.- The scope includes program management for SCG storage solutions including IC, HBA, Firmware, Software, Systems Engineering and requirements for production launch. - Develop and maintain program master schedule for assigned products.- Administer the program level change control process.- Lead and drive cross functional focal teams to coordinate Hardware, Firmware, Systems Engineering, and Marketing activities. Document and drive action items.- Facilitate risk analysis and risk management. Support individual groups in the risk management process. Monitor risk and drive mitigation plans.- Communicate/report on key program metrics.- Coordinate and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, process analysis, and applying your organizational knowledge. - Participate in establishing good program management practices including change control, risk management, lessons learned, program metrics, and communication processes. Implement and practice processes for assigned product lines.
