Description:Engagement Desk Staffing / Position DescriptionKey Functions:- Provide PS Consulting Sales Support to Sales, Partners, PS- Drive Incremental PS Services Sales Volume- Develop Price Quotes for PS Sales Opportunities- Develop Services Briefs, Statements-of-Work (SOWs), and Description of Services documents- Work with PS Consultants to Estimate Level-of-Effort - Provide Price Quotes For RDS Firm Fixed Price Opportunities- Follow PS Engagement Process- Initiate PSA Pre-Sales Projects - Log All Incoming PS Engagement Requests- Work closely with commercial sales and partners- Provide Advice, Answer PS related Questions From Sales & PS & PartnersDesired Experience:- Understanding of Data Storage Products and Services- NetApp, EMC, or Hitachi- Inside Sales- Sales SupportEssential Skills:- Excellent Verbal & Written Communication- Ability to Work with Assertive Personalities- Organization- Teamwork in a Fast Paced Environment- Stress Management- Positive, Can-Do Attitude- Windows Applications - Word, ExcelEducation and Experience:- A minimum of 2 years of experience is required; 3 to 5 years of experience is preferred. - A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience is required.- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.Qualifications:Requirements:- Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential and are utilized in communicating with team members, systems administrators and managers.- Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and managers in a team environment to meet aggressive goals, and meet high quality standards.- Ability to work well with customers' technical representatives under a variety of circumstances to best understand and meet customer expectations.- Storage: knowledge of storage administration and the concepts of file systems and disk partitioning- Knowledge of NAS, DAS, SAN (fabric attached architectures).- Up to 35% travel required.- Off hours work (nights and weekends) is required.Responsibility and Interaction:- Responsibility: - The types of tasks this individual is responsible are a mix of structured and unstructured tasks. This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems. - Is responsible for a specific geographical install base. - Interaction: - This individual interacts primarily with staff to director level employees within the function, and the technical team within NetApp and at customer sites on assigned projects.
