Professional Services Development Manager

This position significantly impacts the delivery of Software Solutions for the company.  The Development Manager facilitates the timely investigation, development and release of Workflow solutions, which generate continuing revenues for the corporation, while providing our the Business Controls with accurate analytical results.  The Development Manager is also responsible for assuring these development projects are performed according to Quality and Development standards, and within budgetary expectations.
 
Applies expertise cross functionally.  Oversees one or multiple projects requiring a high degree of judgment and independence.  Has authority and autonomy to deliver on goals of the project(s).  Realizes that failure to achieve desired outcomes could result in critical delays.
 
Excellent development skills willing to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes of projects, maintain a high level of credibility with peers, management and customers. Also be able to analyze development projects from a technical perspective for sizings and technical content.
 
Possess five years minimum experience in project management of software development projects from concept through commercialization.
Working knowledge of new software development methodologies.
Knowledge and use of word processors, spreadsheets, databases, project scheduling tools, etc.
Ability to utilize commonly accepted project management tools to assist in the development of, and adherence to a project schedule.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION: B.S.
