Procurement Officer

Job requirements for a qualified and highly motivated candidate  for a Senior Procurement Manager position. They will be responsible for company wide purchasing functions and activities. Duties include establishing and negotiating supplier and vendor contracts, managing vendor relationships and interfacing with IBM procurement organization on agent models. Additional responsibilities include staff development and supervision ensuring efficient and cost effective procurement  procedures; preparation of Request for Quote, Invitation to Bid, Request for Proposals and Request for Qualifications.

Education/Certifications:
Degree: BACHELORS DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
----Field of study: a Bachelor's Degree or Certified Procurement Manager
----Experience: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field plus three years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.)certification or Certified Procurement Manager (C.P.M.) certification a plus..
