Pricing Supervisor

PRICING SUPERVISORTinley Park, IL Due to our continued growth and success we are currently seeking a Pricing Supervisor to work closely with the Global Pricing and Assurance Control Manager to establish the overall direction and specific pricing and profitability guidelines for managing the assigned Pricing Coordinators. Translate these guidelines into executable action plans for managing the daily activities of the Pricing Coordinators. Ensure that the team is functioning as a cohesive unit, handling pricing requests in a timely, efficient manner and is adhering to all Pricing policies regarding Special Pricing Authorizations (SPA’s). Responsibilities: Analyzing and approving customer SPA’s, which exceed the approval range of the Pricing Coordinators. Supervising the daily and monthly activities of the Pricing Coordinators.  Ensuring that the team provides superior service levels to our customers. Training and mentoring of Pricing Coordinators assigned to your team. Identifying and eliminating non-value added tasks to streamline the pricing process. Initiating and driving the hiring of new Pricing Coordinators as needed. Conducting quarterly productivity reviews and annual performance reviews with each Pricing Coordinator.  Requirements: BA/ BS degree preferred. 6+ years of pricing, product management, marketing or sales experience. 2 years of supervisory experience.  Must be decisive and able to motivate a team. Strong analytical, statistical, math and computer skills. Ability to create reports using various systems with working knowledge of Excel. Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment while meeting critical deadlines.
