Performance Engineer

Performance EngineerDescription: We have several immediate openings for Junior-level Engineers who have a strong understanding of PC & Server Architecture and some scripting skills (C, C++, and Perl). This is a contract to hire position with a leader in the IT industry. This is a chance to work with people who are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their work. Primary Duties include:* Develop code to be utilized in the new Benchmark Suite. This code can include test harness generation, test module creation, Microsoft installer code, or OEM specific UNIT Test code.General Duties include:*Perform comparison studies of processor based platforms against competitor based platforms. *Provide engineering analysis of benchmark tests including system utilization and determine the quality and viability of a benchmark to be included in a suite. *Be able to find new benchmarks by surveying the industry and searching through the internet for existing benchmarks. *Search for applications, load OS on systems, install, run and test applications to determine if they can be used for benchmark testing.
