Order Processing Lead

A leader for a small, growing team responsible for order processing and replenishment activities of spare parts and related consumables. Team activities include: creating customer orders through SAP, creating delivery notes, following up on order flow, and monitoring delivery to ensure customer commitments are met to/from our 40+ warehouse locations to several destinations within the US.

Responsibilities include:
-Work along side the team assisting in daily functions and the intervention of escalations
-Evaluate existing practices for efficiency and implementing improvement measures using KPI (Key Performance Indicators) such as delivery reliability and related customer requirements
-Install a reporting tool measuring delivery reliability and capability
-Team management and development including assessing individual strengths and capitalizing on those strengths further improving team collaboration


REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor Degree in a business related area or 5+ years of equivocal experience may be considered
-5+ yrs in order processing or logistics related Field
-Outstanding and demonstrated experience with process and procedural improvement skills
-Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and SAP highly desirable
-Organizational skills for efficient office control are mandatory
-Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts
-Solid decision making skills
-Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
-Team leader, superior motivation and goal setting skills a must
