Oracle DBA

A MODIS client currently has a need for an Oracle 10g DBA in historic Valley Forge, PA. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years experience as a DBA in an Oracle environment along with UNIX system knowledge sufficient to configure, maintain, and monitor Oracle instances. A strong candidate must also display the following skills: Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle and Oracle tools to support database environments Demonstrated knowledge of shell environments (C, Korn, KSH, Bourne) Demonstrated proficiency of SQL Demonstrated knowledge in ErWin (or similar tool) for schema development and architecture  This client requires individuals that are able to support cutsom Java applications with an understanding of complex query issues coming from an environment of 15-20 Real Application Clusters. Someone who will not just develop, but Install Stored Procedures to support the application layer of the infrastructure is required.Proficiecency with the following is required: Solaris 2.7/2.8 experience Red Hat Linux experience Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g, and/or 11i experience, RAC experience(set-up and installation)The client has requested candidates that are eligible for permanent opportunities only.
