The Strider Group, LLC is currently searching for highly skilled Oracle Applications Functional Analysts to join a growing information technology team and work with top IT professionals and business leaders in implementing customized business and financial systems. Our client is in the process of implementing Oracle 11i and is building a team of Oracle Professionals to assist with this implementation and support future enterprise integration projects in the years ahead.  This is a great opportunity for a professional who wants to be involved with a global company that is developing a world class information technology department.

 

Duties will include:

 

· Propose business processes based on industry best practice using Oracle Applications (Financials) technology to meet business needs.

· Conduct gap analysis study and write/ maintain functional specifications for new or modified business systems/processes.

· Consult and assist technical team during design, development, enhancement and testing of automated business systems.

· Create and assist others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, test scripts and procedures.

· Assist project leaders during the planning phase by scoping the proposed solution leading to cost and time estimate.

· Accountable for providing leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings.

· Assist with security, Oracle responsibilities, Alerts, Workflow approvals and system privileges.

· Responsible for identifying and analyzing non-functional requirements such as system performance, usability, reliability, security, legal and other operational aspect.

· Support all Oracle Applications patching, upgrade and maintenance activities by testing and troubleshooting functional issues.

· Lead functional acceptance testing of patches and upgrades.
Perform system troubleshooting on Oracle ERP application problems and assist users in solving systems issues.

· Provide end-user instruction, training and support to resolve application issues. Manage Oracle Service Requests (SR's) to resolution effectively.

· Lead system enhancements initiatives by designing and formulating a solution and act as the liaison between the business and the technical team members through the solution delivery process.

Specific responsibilities include:

 At least 5 years working as an IT Functional Analyst At least 3 years working with Oracle Applications Functional and Technical on the following application Modules: Oracle General Ledger Oracle Receivables Oracle Payables Strong Oracle Multi org / Multi currency experience within multi phase, global implementationsExperience with Accounting concepts and practices preferred Experience in documenting complex business requirements and test scenarios Strong SDLC experience required. Exposure Oracle AIM Methodology preferred. Experience with executing SQL queries and understanding the underlying structure of the most common Oracle Applications tables will be given preference. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor’s in Business Administration with MIS
