Network Engineer

CGI is seeking a Network Engineer to install, configure, and support the infrastructure build which supports a large Federal Government financial system. All candidates must have the ability to obtain a Position of Trust Clearance which requires candidates to be lawfully authorized to work in the U.S. as a (i) U.S. citizen or national; (ii) permanent resident (i.e., possession of \"green card\") and be a resident in the U.S. for three years. This position is based in the Washington DC Metro / Maryland area.

Required Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years of UNIX (AIX and/or Solaris) configuration and administration experience in a clustered environment
- Minimum 2 years of storage configuration and administration. (SAN).
- Minimum 3-5 years of Cisco network configuration and administration.
- Experience with Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc.

Preferred / Desired Skills:
- Working knowledge of Connect:Direct, Oracle, Web Technologies (Apache, Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogic, etc.)
- Working knowledge of system management technologies (IBM Tivoli, HP Openview, SNMP, etc)
- Cisco PIX and Nokia/Checkpoint firewall configuration/administration
