Network Administrator / IT Technician
 Job Description:
The Systems/Network Administrator is responsible for planning, maintaining, and supporting all aspects of the Information Technology infrastructure. Proven proficiency in Microsoft technologies Monitors all systems, including desktops, laptops, servers, and networking equipment Assesses needs for new hardware/software purchases or hardware/software upgrades Installs new hardware and software Troubleshoots problems with servers and employee desktops/laptops and network printers Monitors performance of systems and networks, identifying possible areas of failure or areas that could be improved, and architects solutions for potential or existing problems. Assists with special projects that require technical expertise on IT matters.
 Job Requirements:
Requirements include the following: Windows 2000/XP/Vista Windows Server 2003 Environment, Microsoft Exchange 2003 Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Microsoft Exchange, Office 2K/2003/2007, SQL Server 2005 Routers/Switches Microsoft DPM Backup Software knowledge a plus IIS 5.0/6.0/7.0 SQL Server 2005 experience a plus ISA Server 2004 experience a plus
  Additional requirements include: Knowledge with Domain model running Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP which includes WINS, DNS, DHCP Basic knowledge of routers and switches, i.e. installing, configuring, troubleshooting Experience with network security, ISA firewall configuration and VPN tunneling Knowledgeable on Microsoft Forefront Antivirus Familiar with VB Scripting for Network Policies Knowledge of BES, blackberries, and other handhelds a plus
