Burson-Marsteller's Worldwide Headquarters in New York seeks an experienced Network Administrator to join their IT team.

The Network Administrator will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of the computer network, including LAN switches, server hardware and software. Administrative skills in one or more operating systems, familiarity with one or more classes of server-class hardware, understanding of health/performance monitoring and backup practices.

 

Candidates with 3+ years network administration experience is required for this position.

Job Responsibilities Include:Participate in the setup, design and administration of Windows Enterprise serversDaily system administration tasks & troubleshooting of Windows based servers and remote system monitoring, tuning & supportPatch Management Experience in a 24/7 Enterprise environmentOn Call Support of servers & flexibility of hours on occasion for releases, upgrades, etc.



Skills Required:Familiarity with Cisco VoIPAbility to work with a team of Windows support personnel from remote locationsFamiliarity with scripting languageDiagnose and correct OS and application configuration problemsExcellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse group of people
