Are you tired of having your creative marketing ideas and systems rejected by the "board of directors" ?  Do you like working in a fast paced environment where you can truly be part of the creation of marketing systems and tools from the ground ?  This job is for you!An exciting opening for a new marketing director is opening up within a rapidly growing, exciting to work with-in locally owned and operated technology company staffed by a diverse group of technology service, support, development, and creative-development people.We're a fast paced high growth small tech business based in Catawba County (Hickory area) that provides technology security focused value added software and hardware distribution throughout North America as well as managed services and IT Solutions that provide complete solutions to a variety of customers segments including home, education, nonprofit, small medium and large businesses both in our local North Carolina market and internationally via the web.We're looking for an experienced, self-starter, for a full time Marketing Director position within our Catawba County Headquarters.Primary job responsibilities at "Day 1"* 2009 Marketing Plan* Management and development of US National Trade Show Programs within multiple market segments (Education, Reseller, Government)* Management and development in conjunction with creative staff of Trade Show Related Materials* Plan new and manage existing US National Direct Mail Campaigns in conjunction with in-house Creative staff* Telemarketing Lead Generation Program Development and Implementation* Help Drive and Manage the Development and successful continued planning of the look and future direction of all websites.* Manage existing relationships with PR agencies, vendors, and copywriters as it relates to sales and marketing.* Develop plan for improved lead conversion and followup.Ongoing responsibilities:* Yearly Marketing Plan, and Budget* Manage all trade show activities.* Manage all direct mail activities.* Manage all copy writing activities.* Manage all Press Release and Media Communications in association with PR Agency.* Manage Newsletter program in multiple mediums (print and online)* Assist in the creation of additional positions to manage telemarketing, sales, and other critical future openings.* Management and hiring of additional support staff in marketing.Required skills and experience:
