NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER

Job description:

 

The Network Security Engineer candidate must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on working experience in the network and security field. This individual will be managing our corporate network infrastructure and directly involved in the design and implementation of our new datacenters.

 

Responsibilities:Support LAN/WAN infrastructure consisting of Cisco routers and switches Manage and maintain network security devices including Cisco PIX/ASA, and  Juniper firewalls Support and manage VoIP technologies Design, install and support end-to-end datacenter infrastructure Conduct system security and vulnerability analyses, and risk assessments Research, evaluates and implements new security software or devices

 

Required Skills:Strong skills in all aspects of internet security, network design and troubleshooting Ability to implement policies, processes and develop solutions to network and security problems Experience administering and deploying network firewalls, such as Juniper SSG products, Cisco PIX/ASA and ACLs Thorough understanding of Cisco routers and switches, and TCP/IP, UDP, DNS EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and NAT protocols Working experience with configuring and troubleshooting IPSEC/VPN tunnel issues Exposure to some of the following tools: Snort, Nessus, Nmap, snoop, tcpdump and Wireshark Ability to work with limited supervision and able to solve problems independently Working experience in financial industry is preferred
