Motherboard Design Engineer - Allegro, CadenceDescription: Motherboard Design Engineer Allegro and Cadence Design Tools1 Year Contract Position Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm ShiftThe Engineer will be responsible for designing printed circuit boards with silicon, as part of a complete audio and/or video solution to Our Client's customers. These projects range from full sized main boards which include video, audio, RF tuner, wireless LAN and other subsections, to small single purpose daughter cards. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Working closely with the Consumer Electronics Silicon Design team to design platforms for testing and incorporating Digital Home Groups (DHGs) silicon into the company's platforms. Designing and developing the digital and analog circuits. Interfacing with the Design teams in other divisions. Debugging and evaluating motherboard and/or circuit problems. Creating schematics and directing printed circuit board layout with CAD Engineer.About Our Client:This company is the world's largest manufacturer of computer chips founded in 1968. Requirements: Required Skills for this Motherboard Design Engineer position include the following: Experience with schematic capture, printed circuit board layout and typical lab tools. Experience with Allegro and Cadence design tools is required. Some knowledge of Perl would be an added advantage. Bachelor's or Master's Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently.
