OVERVIEW:

position will report to and work closely with the technical manager in the Security and Infrastructure dept.  Primary responsibilities will consist of design, implementation and maintenance and disaster recovery planning of a multi-site Windows Active Directory/MS Exchange 2007 environment.  This candidate will also assist in managing the full technical environment including systems admin responsibilities across the board in technical services.

LOCATION:

Downtown Dallas

COMPENSATION:

$85,000-95,000 annual salary depending on qualifications

 

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

·  Multi-site MS Exchange 2007

·  Administer and Support Active Directory, DNS and MS Exchange replication

·  Responsible for planning, testing, tuning, configuration, and set-up of MS Exchange Architectures as well as supporting common email applications (outlook, entourage, PDA based e-mail)

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Maintain appropriate documentation on the MS Active Directory Enviroment

·  Provide 24/7 on-call support for the email environment

·  Participate in weekend maintenance activities as required

·  Monitor Windows 2000/2003 (and beyond) servers and troubleshoot problems

·  Work as a technical resource on assigned projects

 

 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

·  Must have minimum 4 years working experience and intimate proficiency with MS Active Directory administration and troubleshooting in a large-scale multi-site environment

·  Sharepoint development/administration experience is a plus

·  Excellent customer service and telephone skills, and experience in a professional service environment

·  Strong problem solving skills
