Marketing Specialist

A growing software solutions company in Redwood Shores is seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist / Marketing Manager to drive their business. Principle Responsibilities include: Develop and execute strategic and tactical marketing plans and activities to establish, enhance or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena. Develop and execute marketing and sales communication materials, including print advertising, direct mail, sales brochures and presentations. Assume complete responsibility for assigned projects including development of strategies and tactics, production, execution and management through implementation. Manager trade show participation (including maintaining booth, scheduling shows, arranging staff participation and coordinating required presentations/ materials. Track and review industry conferences and seminars, recommend participation where appropriate and schedule / coordinate attendance Manage website content, updates and routine maintenance Interacts with vendors to product promotional material Assist with execution of public relations strategies and tactics ( includes press releases, testimonials, case studies, and trade articles) Track and review competitive activity and industry trends on on-going basis Ensure the company and its products are accurately positioned to take advantage of market opportunities Ensure al marketing programs are inline with corporate branding initiatives Work closely with product management to understand the value proposition of the company and products in relation to the market and competition. Work closely with sales and account management to ensure their needs are met Identify and communicate market opportunities as they arise.
