We currently have immediate openings for Manufacturing Engineers (both Mechanical and Electrical).  Three main components of this position and their responsibilities are:

New Product Introduction:  Ensure design support Supply Chain Strategy; Perform Dfx (DFMA, DFT, DFS) to design and recommend any cost avoidance/saving and quality enhancement to products.

Line Sustaining:  Serve as focal point for Operations to engage Engineering on any issues related to design; Act as liaison between CM technical team and Rackable technical team; Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues relating to process and test; Provide technical recommendations to MRB on material disposition; Assess and approve ECO changes.

New Manufacturing Technology:  Identify and investigate new manufacturing technologies; Carry out operations engineering projects to improve manufacturing/test process and product quality.Successful candidates will possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering (BSME/BSEE) with 10 years of experience in operations engineering and new product introduction, preferably with server products. You must have good communication skills and the ability to multi-task and drive project to completion.  Knowledge on server, routing and switching technologies, the ability to troubleshoot and tackle problems based on limited information and being able to identify and design fixtures & jigs for manufacturing are required.  Good knowledge on operations; such as work flow, process control, BOM structuring is preferred.
