Location: Danbury, CT 06810 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years Pay Rate: 110,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD /year Reference Code: 1001131941 Currently we are searching for a Manager of Web Development for one of our clients in the Danbury CT area. This opportunity is a Direct Hire opportunity with a rapidly growing organization.We are seeking a Manager of Web Development to focus on delivery of technical projects. Successful candidates will have the unique ability to work cross-functionally to build relationships with business leaders and deliver global IT solutions. In this role you will be building mission critical, web-based business applications that drive our new product development and sales processes.The desire to learn a broad range of technology is necessary since team members will be learning new business areas and dealing with new technology in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position resides in the Danbury, Connecticut office.Primary Responsibilities:· Responsible for the delivery and execution of web applications and internal and external web site development and knowledge management solutions;· Develop technical team and enhance current development processes;· Prioritize projects, allocate resources and deliver against IT strategy/roadmap;· Manage technical development and ensure compliance with sound SDLC methodology;· Manage across cross functional teams on development projects - infrastructure, business systems, development and business teams;· Manage onshore and offshore technical development teams;· Build relationships with business partners and demonstrate leadership to drive solutions;· Responsible for technical department budget and project estimation;· Quality assurance testing and validation;· Drive for continuous improvement of the integration and standardization of the IT environment (Six Sigma preferred);· Excellent verbal and written skills, including diplomacy when dealing with other team members;· Ability to be on call in case of any type of emergencies;· Ability to travel up to 25%. Education and Experience:· BS required. Computer Science or EE degree preferred;· 5+ years of software development experience;· 10+ years of overall IT experience;· Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and .Net development strongly preferred;· Experience with Oracle RDBMS;This is a great opportunity within a growing organization....
