Manager of Practice Management, IDX

Our Client is looking for a Manager of Practice Management Applications (GE/ IDX).  This position manages customer support, maintenance and development of core-business systems.  Leads a team of technical personnel who serve over 1,000 users, and provide services around the clock, every day of the year.  The Manager, Practice Management Applications establishes work schedules, assigns tasks, defines roles, sets goals and evaluates performance of Practice Management Applications team members.  Identifies and recommends solutions, and selects the appropriate tactics and strategies to achieve goals.  Designs sound project plans in partnership with the Organization's leadership, IS management and other key personnel.  Manages projects and coordinates Practice Management applications team efforts with those of other business units.

Bachelor’s degree in business or medical information systems and five years of relevant work experience.  Work experience may be substituted for degree.  Requires working knowledge of the medical practice management information systems.Experience with GE/ IDX preferred.  Must have a minimum of 3 years supervisory and project management experience
