Mainframe Programmer

Job Purpose:

Maintains mainframe operating environment by monitoring and upgrading operations.  Work on enrollment process and electronic transmissions of customers’ subscriptions.  Evaluate requests, plan, analyze, develop and apply technical programming knowledge.

Duties:

* Programmers to work on Mainframe with Cobol, CICS, Easytrieve, JCL, VSAM in a very dynamic working environment.  Also, Open systems and .NET technologies knowledge a plus. Fast learner. team Leader, team player. Fully bilingual - English / Spanish.  Minimum of  7 years of experience.  Bachelors in Information Systems or related field.  Available to start immediately.

* Completes projects by planning, organizing, and monitoring assignments; aligning decisions and actions with corporate technology directions.

* Maintains operational effectiveness and efficiency by monitoring, evaluating, and adjusting mainframe operating systems.

* Resolves problems by determining cause; providing technical assistance to applications and other support staff.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
