The Lifecycle Asset Management Team (LAMP) is a global program responsible for migrating all of our customer’s Worldwide Technology assets (including servers, pc’s, network devices and applications), in a centrally managed asset management repository. We are looking for a business analyst with strong data management capabilities to support the program. This person will report to the LAMP Deployment Lead. The individual will be part of a geographically dispersed team charged with analyzing records from multiple systems. This analysis will support data contained in multiple data sources. Data analyzed will be records contained in our customer’s Fixed Asset Register, AssetCenter and CMDB (Configuration Management Database). Data analysis will require the individual to be fluent in the advanced features of MS Access and MS Excel to mine and report on certain fields contained within the data sources. Proper analysis will require the individual to make judgment decisions on “best match� criteria supplied by our customer. Attention to detail and accurate analysis will be critical to the success of the individual and the overall project.

In this leading role this person will play a key role in:

Working with various sites to identify and assess local site assets.

Work with CMDB (Configuration Management Data Base) and GFSS (Global Financial Shared Serves) Asset teams to identify data.

Work with Asset Center repository on the incorporation of assets into our environment.

Analyzing data and determine best approaches towards achieving a harmonized environment.

Work with site and team on the reconciliation of discovered assets to the Fixed Asset Registry (FAR)

Requirements

Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in data management.

Works closely with the various business units who own the assets that WT manages on their behalf.

Works closely with the LAMP (Lifecycle Asset Management Program) deployment team to migrate sites into new environment.

Escalates issues as needed to the Global Asset Management Lead

Competencies

Expert level in Microsoft Office Products: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project

Experience in IT data management and data analysis.

Information sharing abilities

Good problem solving skills

Strong teamwork skills

Ability to work with cross-functional business units.

Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Develop report formats and templates

Communicate and work with customers to help them achieve their data business goals

Familiarity with HP Service Center and HP Asset Center preferred.
