BNC is looking for a top level, experienced Sales Engineer to support our rapidly expanding business in the Denver Market.

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 

You will work as a Sales Engineer with our clients in the Denver metropolitan area to ensure they are receiving the best technology offerings available today.  The Sales Engineer will design and propose technology solutions for businesses in the SMB market.  This position is split into four major areas: Meeting with prospective customers; time dedicated to writing detailed migration plans and proposals which include hardware, software and labor; time spent following up on pending proposals as well as continuous development of business relationships with potential partners and clients

 

The ideal candidate will have a background of network/server administration with previous outside sales experience and the desire to further develop their business acumen by utilizing their solutions experience with systems design and the architecture side of I.T.  Most of your time will be spent developing and working with prospective decision makers to improve processes and systems in Denver’s best small to medium sized organizations. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze potential customers business processes and develop technology solutions to drive superior performance and efficiencies.

• Develop 3 – 5 proposals per week for the technology solutions you design.  The proposals will be very technical in nature and will include step-by-step labor detail for projects such as new implementations and complex migrations.

• Explain BNC’s unique service offering to business owners and decision makers and manage account issues for a preliminary post-sales period.

• Candidate must have the technical skills to enable them to audit and even assist in the implementation of new solutions.

• Provide responsive advice, counsel, and education concerning new technologies for internal staff.



QUALIFICATIONS

 

·  MCP 2003 (MCSE preferred), and experience working as Windows network admin.

·  Experience working in a minimum of 3 different network environments including experience with Windows Servers, AD and Exchange 2003.

·  Experience with all common anti-virus, backup, and remote access applications.

·  Very strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·  Outstanding written communication skills.

·  At least one previous position working in direct sales.

·  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
