Jr. System Administrator needed in MA!!!

Job Description:

Our client is looking for someone who just graduated college or has 1-2 years of experience who is willing to do menial tasks as well as in depth Asset Management skills work. Client does not want a senior guy set in his ways who will not want to learn and or do the desktop-support side along with administration.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide help desk support to internal users

• Assist with network administration and user account maintenance

• Monitor daily and weekly data backups

• Assist with the procurement and inventory of hardware and software

• Assist in the design and implementation of IT projects

• Create and maintain system documentation

• Assist with server administration of Windows NT/XP/2000/2003 including SQL Server, Exchange, Active Directory and IIS

• Windows scripting experience (VBScript, WSH, WMI) a plus

• Some programming experience (VB, C#, Java, etc.) is a plus

• Understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, switches, routers and general networking methodologies would be a big plus.

• Must be a US Citizen or GC holder only.
