JSP Developer

SGI is seeking a jsp developer to support our Oracle
Quoter/Configurator tool. Join our fun, dynamic, and hard
working team as we design and implement a new configuration
sales tool for SGI's product lines.

Resumes will be accepted for both Sunnyvale, CA and Chippewa Falls, WI locations. This individual will be a member of SGI's
modeling team which is responsible for the maintenance of
SGI's product configuration rules. The individual will
work closely with Oracle configuration modelers, Marketing
Product Managers, manufacturing team members, technical
writers and the IT organization to gather business
requirements and then create and maintain jsp Oracle
customizations including the support of visualization
diagrams based on output from the Oracle configurator.


This position is TECHNICAL in nature involving the
development and support of Oracle extensions on an ongoing
basis. This individual should have intimate knowledge of
Configurator design and modeling, Bill of Material
structure and Configurator extensions. Some familiarity
with and awareness of Advanced Pricing, Configurator
attributes, the Oracle Configure to Order processes and
designing configurator extensions is preferred. This role
is the perfect opportunity for a growth path into Oracle
Configuration Modeling. Requirements: Candidate should have 3 or more years of IT experience in design, development, debugging, and production support of Oracle business applications, with at least 2 years experience on Oracle11i Configurator and Java configurator extensions. Work well in both individual and team environments. Prefer experience in the following development languages and tools: Oracle 11i Configurator Application Development Tools, Oracle PL/SQL, J2EE, HTML. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Motivated self-starter with positive attitude, team oriented and passionate about your work.College degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study is preferred.
