J2EE Ajax Developer

We are currently seeking a 9 month contract J2EE Ajax Developer for our Fortune 500 client located in the Austin, TX market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day to day development activities on a new and upcoming interfacing technology.  Tasks include but are not limited to ·  Designing and developing J2EE and AJAX based web applications adding new functionality as well as consistently producing on-going scheduled maintenance releases. ·  Responsible for applying knowledge and skills in a wide spectrum of web application development technologies to execute on your core responsibilities of this position.·  Responsibilities also include integrating our product components with other 3rd party components and/or services. Requirements for Consideration·  4+ years JSP ·  6+ years SQL·  AJAX ·  4+ years J2EE, Struts ·  4+ years JavaScript ·  XSLT, XML ·  CSS, HTML/XHTML ·  Web Services·  4-8 years of software development experience, building and shipping web based applications ·  Dom·  Experience developing cross-browser pages: Experience finding and working around browser bugs, layout bugs, etc. ·  Hands-on experience working with J2EE application servers & Linux ·  Hands-on experience working with Linux/Unix & Windows platforms ·  Bachelors degree or higher Please send a copy of your resume to EricSpence@spherion.com or apply directly through Monster.
