Integration and Test Engineer

Allegis Group, Inc. - Corporate Location: Orlando, FL 32809 Position Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: IT/Software Development Integration and Test Engineer Job Description: -TEKsystems is seeking a Systems engineer to work in our clients' systems integration and test group providing integration support, interoperability analysis, and validation of hardware/software solutions employed to interconnect diverse simulators at distributed locations for training. The hardware consists of Off-The-Shelf components such as Dell, Cisco, APC and others. This Systems engineer will perform integration and analysis of a hardware/software solution for simulation and training systems. Tasks include: 1) Analysis of requirements 2) Software Integration design and implementation 3) Component configuration 4) Interoperability Analysis and Test 5) System and Validation Test 6) On-site integration 7) Standards Review and Assessment. -Integration efforts will take place within a dynamic team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Some travel will be required in the performance of these efforts. Position may also require customer interface. This position requires 4-7 years experience in hardware/software systems development and integration.Requirements - Must have an active SECRET clearance - Expertise in training simulation protocols DIS and HLA. - Experience with general networking and communication protocols. - Experience with protocol/packet level analysis and debugging. - Familiarity with constructive simulation platforms (CGF-Computer Generated Forces) such as JSAF, JCATS, BigTac, ASCOT, NGTS, etc. - Windows 2000/2003/XP, Unix, Linux. - Able to generate test plans, test procedures, execute, and generate results and analysis to standards Assets - Self starting and able to manage assignments independently. - Dedication to completing the tasks completely - Self discipline to follow defined processes - Detail Oriented - Ability to develop training and user manuals Required Skills: HLA, DIS, COMPUTER GENERATED FORCES, INTEGRATION AND TESTPeople.
