Instructional Technologist, Center for Online Learning

Position Summary

We are looking for talented instructional technologists who are passionate about the field of learning technology to support our growing team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Use instructional design principles to manage, design, develop and evaluate online learning

• Communicate with and present to stakeholders and sponsors

• Supervise instructional technologists assigned to support project work

• Communicate, guide and coordinate supporting project resources to prioritize activities and ensure that project design and development is consistent with objectives and within the established requirements

• Work in a team environment as a leader and a contributor

• Learn new software skills as required for development (as technology changes)

• Research and review industry data to keep current on strategies and trends in learning technology

• Additional duties as needed



Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree with emphasis on instructional design / instructional technology / education or equivalent discipline

• Minimum of 3 years experience designing learning materials, coordinating instructional design resources and managing projects

• Web development experience required

• Development experience with Adobe products preferred

• Travel approximately 10% of year
